Holden Is a Pathetic Character

In the real world, most individuals are pathetic im wanderable to the fact they cannot cope with a situation themselves without any wait on from other. Holden has no relationship with feminines, he cannot fight his own battles and sadly, Holden has no one to turn to when he is upset. In the novel, The Catcher of the rye by J.D Salinger, the main character Holden, is a pathetic character. This is because, of his overleap of romance, lack of close friends/family and of course his inability to cope with the genuine situation.
 
Holden lacks of romance. Holden says throught out the book he wants to give Jane a buzz, simply he ends up not calling her. He keeps on thinking to the highest degree her, developing feelings for Jane but does nothing about it.
                I started toying with the idea, while I keep stand up there, of giving old Jane a buzz, I mean
                 calling her considerable distance at B.M., where she went instead of calling up her return to find
                 out when she was coming home. You werent suppose to call students up later at night,
                 but I had it all judge out. I was going to tell whoever answered the phone that I was her
                 uncle. I had a accident and I had to speak to her immediately. It wouldve worked too. The
                only reasonableness I didnt do it was because I wasnt in the mood.

Holden has no relationship with females, even when he put in effort in talking to a female he gets rejected.
