I mean the Directors vision of this play was to first score a vision of the average American home to help the audience relate themselves to the setting. I think this really helped quality the interest of the audience. One thing that I connected with was the desk that Beverley used. This desk reminded me of my begets desk at home that he worked at when I was a young girl. Once taking a swell look at the setting I too effected the way that pieces of setting were cut in half, for example, the front limen was cut in half. I believe this helped the audience get a good look of the entire stage and also separate the different settings within the stage. The theatre in forget me drug stage was beneficial and helped gauge my interest in the play because I was so close that it felt as if I was in the scene.
One critique I do read of the stage was that certain spots in the audience didnt have a good spot of scenes depending on where the execute was located on the stage. I feel that the Directors vision was good and I believe he had the view of the audience in mind when envisioning the play.
