Andy Warhol
Andrew Warhola was born on August 6, 1928 in Pittsburgh, protoactinium; Andy Warhols parents were Slovakian immigrants. His father, Ondrej Warhola, was a construction worker, while his mother, Julia Warhola, was an embroiderer. At the senesce of 8, Warhol contract Chorea; a fatal disease of the flyaway agreement that left him disabled for several months. It was during these months when Warhol got his first drawing lessons from his mother, herself a skillful artist. Drawing soon became Warhols favorite childhood pastime. He was also an enthusiastic fan of the movies, and when his mother bought him a camera at the get on with of 9 he took up photography as well and began developing films. In 1942, at the age of 14, Warhol began at Schenley High School, and when he had graduated, in 1945; he was enrolled at the Carnegie Institute for Technology. Warhol began depiction large pictures of Coca-Cola bottles, Campbells soup cans, and dollar mark bills. He also painted pictures of celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe. As he was crafting pictures of muckle-produced items, Warhol assumed it would be suitable to mass produce the artwork. He did this by creating screen prints rather than painting each picture separately. This allowed him to make many copies of each painting, exclusively each copy was an original Warhol painting.



Andy Warhol was criticized for turning art into a business. Many people did not agree to the fact that Warhol was hardly making copies of the same picture to sell and make money. Warhol believed in what he was creating and continued to make screen printed paintings of celebrities. Warhol died on February 22, 1987, at the age of 58.
