A New Life

The United States has the elevatedest arrange of teenage pregnancy each year. While

many teenagers that engage in pre martial sex never become pregnant, some are not as

fortunate. I was one of the unfortunate ones.

It was the set near of my senior year in high give lessons when I found out I was

pregnant. I was seventeen long time old. At first I did not believe it because I never imagined

that that would happen to me. I had plans and none of them involved having a child for

quite some time. I took test later test to prove the first one wrong besides always ended up

with the same result. I was pregnant. When realization finally hit me it was the most

terrifying moment of my lifetime. My life was about to change and I was not ready for the

immature one I had do for myself.

Telling my family my news was the hardest issue I had ever had to do. I was so

afraid of dissatisfactory them and the thought of it made me sick. Like all parents, mine

had stargazes of me graduating high school and going on to college to get a peak

and using that degree to get some wonderful career.



This dream was especially important

to my parents because neither of them had the opportunity to even blockade high school

much less think about going to college and they were determined I would achieve all the

things they were not able to do. Obviously they were very upset when I told them, that

after the initial shock they agreed to help me do whatever I needed to in order to hit the

baby and continue school.

I went on with life as normal. I worked hard at school and kept my grades up and

only missed class when I had a doctors appointment. The school year flew by and before I

knew it spring cave in was here and graduation was less than two months away. I made it

through the year with no complications and it was time to bring a new person into the
