A utopia is a place that is a spotless or ideal world. The idea of a utopia is for total equality and peacefulness. Utopias are often thought of as impossible because of the unfitness to change human nature. Utopias are created most of the time for religious, economic, political, or science reasons. Stories of utopia often have the plot of man alter his utopia after watching it or individuality being anomic in the utopia. Other models are man striving to find his own personal utopia or nature and dreams shaping ideas for utopia. Utopia has been pondered legion(predicate) times but has never been successful.
During our utopia unit we con unlike stories that both focused around a utopia. Each point had a different type of utopia. In The Childrens myth they were trying to have total control over the world. Everyvirtuoso would be equal but individuality was lost. This also happened in the invention Harrison Bergeron because everyone had to wear things that handicapped their potential. In the stories The Lottery and The Ones Who Walked Away From Omelas they had a perfect world but to have this utopia they had to sacrifice one for the good of the whole. The story of The Veldt understanded where nature shapes the idea of utopia.
The family in the story had a perfect world but applied science ruined it. In Animal Farm and Lord of the move the characters in the stories created utopias but corrupted them after finding their utopia.
The stories that we read all shared a utopian theme. They all had a society trying to create a utopia. In all of these stories we can see the problems in the utopia. Each story had diversity between characters in the story. I think the stories all manoeuver how difficult it is to create a perfect world. Some of the stories show the search for utopia while others are the story of what goes wrong in a utopia.
