Abstract
This action research project investigates the personal effects that an interactional whiteboard has on student engagement and achievement in math class. An syner yieldic whiteboard is commitd to present lessons for a twenty-five percent grade collecting and organizing data unit. Action research is conducted during math instruction: Group A receives full integration of an interactive whiteboard while Group B receives no integration of an interactive whiteboard. Data is collected through a variety of methods, including: the use of a pre-study survey, post study survey, p atomic number 18nt survey, pre-test, post test, and police detective observations. Once the study is completed, the results are used to determine whether or not the interactive whiteboard is an effective t apieceing tool to leaven student engagement and achievement in math class.
